June 1, 2007, a severe storm blew through the fire district and lightning struck a barn on Dorr Road. 9-1-1 was called and Rockton Fire was dispatched first until it was learned that it was on the east side of Dorr Road - that would make it Harlem-Roscoes. Harlem-Roscoe Fire was dispatched as well. The two fire departments worked side-by-side and quickly had the fire extinguished.
