Lightning Strikes Home

Firefighters responded to a home on Free Church Road after it was struck by lightning during a recent storm. The force of the hit blew siding off the side of the home into the yard. It then followed a water pipe down to the basement where it did some minor damage. No fire was found. Thermal imaging cameras were used to check the roof, the attic, and the side of the home for any heat or fire.
